Russia can raise grain exports to Venezuela to 600,000 tns 2019
MOSCOW, Sep 25 (PRIME) -- Russia plans to raise grain supplies to Venezuela to 600,000 tonnes in 2019 from 254,000 tonnes in 2018, according to materials for the upcoming negotiations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolas Maduro, seen by PRIME on Wednesday.
The countries are also jointly working on the establishment of joint ventures in agriculture.
“The increase of the volume of mutual trade has been lately ensured by grain dispatches from Russia. Russia sent 254,000 tonnes of grain to Venezuela last year for more than U.S. $57 million and plans to ship up to 600,000 tonnes of grain this year,” the documents read.
